Idea generated from listening to a song and wondering about who the Shadow Isle champions were before they died. Saw a crescent moon on Hecarim's head and thought he might be a Lunari. :) I might draw up some of the other champions.

Much has been lost regarding the history of Runeterra. Civilizations that have risen and fallen become forgotten. But long before the nations of Demacia or Noxus, there were the Lunari. They were a dying nation, seeking refuge from the zealots of the sun. Their cities were ruined. Their allies refused to help them. As their numbers dwindled they were led by a might Lunarian King who refused to surrender. He rode his noble steed and led his cavalry through countless victories, dawning his crescent spear and armor proudly for his nation to witness.

In an effort to escape the Solarian menace, he led the few remaining of his people across the Conqueror's Sea where his numbers continued to dwindle. Upon reaching the shore of a mysterious Isle, the Lunari felt an unsettling chill in the air. They set up camp to recollect themselves and decide their next course of action. Under the pale moonlight, a being appeared before them the likes none have ever seen. Despite the effort, the Lunari fell until only the king was left. With one final charge he was rendered helpless as his horse was decapitated and his legs severed from his torso.

Upon hitting the ground, the haunting view of the being terrorized him as it said to him, "You serve me now, mortal."

He awoke a monster. Now with the body of a man and the legs of a horse, Hecarim could feel the searing agony fill his being. His memories slowly decayed and the spirit of wrath screamed throughout his body. Much has been lost regarding the history of Runeterra. But none will forget the might of the Shadow Isles.

So wait a min. This is Mordekaiser right who killed him? Cause it does pretty well with the Easter Egg in Twisted Treeline as you play each character and after capturing the altars there are comments to each champion. Nice work

I like this idea. Great for a "Chapter 2" in Hecarim's lore, not to mention more excuses for unique champion interactions. You also bring up the brilliantly addictive idea of who the Shadow Isle champions were before they met their respective demise. We know Thresh already, Morde as a Noxian General? Evelyn as an Ionian priestess? Elise as a Damacian noble? Karthus as.....a famous bard? This will be gnawing at the back of my mind all day now! DANGIT!!

Anyway, great job and great idea!
