Hey there guys,

I wanted to share my experience attending my first big event, the World Championship Finals, and what happened afterwards! When I first arrived I saw a bunch of LoL fans and Rioters walking around in giant crowds. Some were wandering around lost like I was and others chose to hang around to chat. The merchandise line was a free-for-all. I literally had to push myself in to get ahead of the line or else people would just cut. After spending 45 minutes in line, I found out there were other entrances into the building and much shorter merchandise lines.

Along the way I got to see some interesting characters such as CRS Cop, RiotMorgageddon, IronStylus, Giant Kog'Maw, Fiddlesticks, Sky Williams, Hai, PhantomL0rd, Chaox, TSM, and many other Rioters. While standing in the fast line that my girlfriend and I luckily got directed to by Staples Center staff, I happened to be in front of a Rioter. When we entered the building, the Staples Center staff made us throw away our signed posterboards and would not let us at least rip the names off. We also had to throw away our sharpies. What sucked was that plenty of the other fans were carrying their posterboards and sharpies in front of us inside the venue.

The Rioter in line stopped to ask the Staples Center staff why we couldn't keep anything. He did this without anybody asking him to. Afterwards, he apologized to us even though it wasn't his fault and asked for our summoner names/e-mails. He said he'd make it up to us somehow. I felt the thought of it was nice and honestly forgot about it until he e-mailed us again a week or so ago.

We received the package in the mail a couple days ago.

2 Bags containing: Riot Graves code x1 Riot Blitzcrank and Arcade Hecarim code x2 League of Leagends Yellow Wrist Band x1 Riot Games Pin x1 It's K. Stress Ball x1 League of Legends Lanyard x1

Now this was pretty nice. We got a lot of stuff we couldn't get at the Finals. So I felt grateful for the gesture.

Then I opened the packaging for what was obviously posters and found these:

The Lulu sketch is half digital and half on paper. Original print! The sketch featuring Vi holding a Jinx voodoo doll is all digital.

That was pretty thoughtful. I think the Rioter actually looked up our summoner profiles and chose to get us drawings of the champions we played often. This was a gift on a much deeper level than I had previously anticipated. So I felt taken-aback that a Rioter made this much of an effort for he they had only met once.

Then I saw two posters that I figured were just standard give-aways and I lost it:

Sorry for the bad quality but essentially it is signed by Rioters, including some of the shoutcasters. :) Phreak, Ezreal, IronStylus, and even the new guy Eliv to name a few. Both posters had signatures.

For all the **** Riot has been given lately, I wanted to give back something more positive. This one Rioter went out of his way for a couple of anonymous fans and it really showed me what a "player-first" company is like. The World Finals were a cool experience but it is this moment that I will remember it by.

Thanks Riot! Best Gaming Company NA!

Even better than first time I visited. Also, if you wanna write ****, for sh*t, you will have to escape characters, so in short, write \*\*\*\*

The amazingness of Riot is one of the big reasons why I play this game.
