btw tough as an avid skarner fan i have to strongly disagree with this, i have reviewed the plans for the new skarner and its absolutely not the same at all. some things i think are good things, like the addition to the ult where it dosent work if the person jumps away at the last second, while its amazingly funny when that happens the other person is probably pissed and i feel that. the change to the shield is a good idea i think but if the other changes were taken out this would be nice to keep just not as powerful so he isnt too strong of a sticker. the thing i dislike most about the changes are the q and e, while the e is a good idea to start slowing you opponents before you get to them it dosnt really fit with skarner who has the mindset of being fast himself (hence the shield) and getting physically to targets, like the tip in the game says "he cannot do much dmg to you if you keep your distance" while its annoying it fits perfectly, he should remain a strictly melee champ, plus the taken away heal makes it really hard for him to sustain, even though it wasnt much it was still more than nothing and produced a good effect over time. also the q changes, while the less mana is nice, the attack speed is more of a utility thing, most people enjoy skarner for the cc he provides not the dmg he can dish out with his aa's, its a good idea but i think the ms boost and as boost from his shield was a perfect fit, also with a long cd to stop spamming. the main problem is that skarner simply cannot stick to targets as well as he used to and cannot compete with champs like udyr, sej, or shaco when it comes to slows. basically i dont think that the changes are good as a whole, but some things are nice and conciderable, the main parts of it i think should be scapped.
