Block her ult ranged attack, have a shield up for all of her trades, be able to dodge her Q's by moving through minions. Totes countered.

almost no one can all in a riven early. but you can trade with her, and that 3rd Q poke can hurt her a lot if you lane it, especially mid Q combo.

It's not as one sided as most people think. I would still say Riven has the advantage, but Yasuo can most certainly win the 1v1.
