Champion Concept: The Puppet Master

This is inspired from the character in Riot's Harrowing Video . . And I think something along the lines of the concept I've come up with would be a great addition to the League, as an AP Melee, Assassin / Mage Champion. I take 0 credit for the lore behind him as well, as that's Riot's doing already.

The old man narrating this video has great potential and character to be an awesome addition to the League: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s2FFGBPXNeU

Ichabod (Yes, inspired by Ichabod Crane), The Puppet Master Really, the name can be anything. I'm more concerned with the concept of him.

Stats: Mage, Assassin Melee, AP

Low/Medium AD High AP Low/Medium HP High Difficulty

Position Preference (In order from best performance to worst performance)**: ** **Jungle, Middle Lane **

Passive: Soul Shears: Ichabod receives 5% of his maximum mana upon hitting an enemy unit. (Similar to Essence Reaver or Soul Sickle)

Q: No Strings Attached: Ichabod imbues his shears with spirit energy and his next basic attack deals bonus magic damage (+AP) and he receives (AP) mana. (Scales with Ability Power)(More AP means more damage dealt, and more mana received.)

W: Soul Snare: Enemy Minion / Neutral Monster Cast (Exception of super monsters): Minion attacks nearest enemy (Priority of champions in line of sight), slowing them by 5%, and reducing MR by 5%, for 1 second on each auto attack by the minion Minion deals bonus (%AP) damage. Lasts for 3/3.5/4/4.5/5 seconds. Enemy Champion Cast: Deals 150 (+AP) damage over the duration of 3 seconds, and slows the enemy champion by 15% for the duration. Friendly Puppet Cast: Consumes the puppet and restores health to Ichabod.

E: My Little Friends: Ichabod summons a companion puppet that will follow him around and attack his targets only. These puppets share 25% of Ichabod's HP, and deal 25% of Ichabod's total AP in magic damage. Ichabod's puppets are random (He has a chance to summon 1 of 3 types) He has a melee type, a ranged type, and a type that deals no damage, but instead grant Ichabod a passive that gives him bonus Armor, bonus MR, and bonus Health for as long as it is alive. There is no time duration on Ichabod's puppet's, but they do not have health regeneration. However, Ichabod's puppets can be healed by friendly summoner heal spells, or any heal spell in general. Ichabod can have up to 1/2/3/4/5 Puppets summoned, and they are weaker, mobile versions of the Heimerdinger turrets. Ichabod can cast Q Soul Snare on his friendly puppets to consume the puppet and heal himself.

R: You Are Mine: (Similar to Nocturne's E) Ichabod attaches his spirit strings to targeted enemy champion, controlling them for a max duration of 5 seconds. Soul Snare deals 15% of Ichabod's HP in true damage to himself every second, for as long as his strings are attached to the target. Ichabod's armor and magic resist are also reduced by 10% for the duration. Ichabod can control the champion with R, and use it to attack his enemies with it's Auto attacks. This spell can be canceled by enemy players (cleanse, cc, etc.) or if Ichabod's puppet leaves his range. The Ultimate cannot be canceled manually by Ichabod, if he wants to manually cancel, he has to force his puppet out of range with R. So basically, Ichabod can freely move his puppet champion, but he has to also keep moving to stay close to it and stay in range, so his strings don't break. When Ichabod ults, his entire skill set changes for the 5 second duration that the ult lasts (or until range is exceeded or ult is canceled by cleanse or cc). During the cast duration, the target player cannot cast or control his champion, however he CAN use his summoners. (So if you're going to ult someone be sure that their flash is down first). Friendly players can not target Ichabod's puppet champion will damaging spells or basic attacks. However, friendly players (Like Janna or Sona) can shield / heal his champion puppet. Just be smart about how you do so, because once the champion regains control of itself, it could backfire. Cost: 100 Mana

Ultimate Skill Set: (You can only cast one of these during the 5 second ultimate duration)

Q: Siphoning Grasp: Ichabod siphons health from his champion puppet, healing himself and dealing true damage to the puppet.

W: Tell Me Your Secrets: Ichabod releases control of the champion but receives global vision control of all enemy champions.

E: Evergloam: Ichabod increases the attack damage of his puppet by 50%, but this lasts up to 8 seconds. (Since Ichabod's Ultimate only lasts for the total of 5 seconds, Evergloam will remain on the champion as a passive buff for 3 more seconds, and can use it against Ichabod and his teammates in the remainder of the fight.) This is a risk/reward skill and should not be used lightly. If the ultimate is canceled by any means, Evergloam will still remain on the target for the remaining 8 seconds. What I'm trying to say is, **Once Evergloam is cast, it stays on the champion for the total 8 seconds. Be careful how you use it. **

R: Used to move your puppet champion.

Personality: *Mischievous, Malevolent. Similar to Rumpelstiltskin. *

I'll also add that it's probably best that Ichabod's Q, and E also scales with Attack Damage. Ichabod's mage puppet dmg will scale with his AP, Ichabod's ranged puppet dmg with scale with Ichabod's AD, and Ichabod's Melee puppet dmg will scale with AD, AP(bonus mr and armor), and HP

For his 'e' I think something more along the lines of twisted fates 'Pick a Card' would benefit him. Randomness in champions leads to unreliability!
