So I was laning as Malphite against Cho'gath and it appears that whenever Cho'gath silences you during Brutal Strikes, you lose your crit animation as well as the bonus damage. However, it still shows that Brutal Strikes is in effect above my skillbar. Has been going on since patch. This has to be a bug right?

would still be a bug. Silence should have no effect on buffs and debuffs. It should only be an interrupt + unable to cast spells. Spells that are in effect shouldn't be impacted.
