What poppy means to me, a simple poem
As I wander through the field Foes cower before my shield I've been called the little stomper But they should truely fear my Whomper
My father's work, he died to take To the castle across the lake Katarina I will strive to fight As the one who took his life
I was offered a vast reward But nothing would stop that sword Money will not replace my dad But for him I will not be sad
Though i walked the land alone My courage moved Galio's heart of stone Though i may be from a little town Thanks to me, Jarvan bears his crown
Jax is my mentor, from now to the end Whether he be spectator, foe or friend I may not be outspoken but like Riven, my past is broken
I am here to stay and fight Until this war has come to light I will fight the noxian army Until Valoran knows harmony
As I walk through the field Foes flee before my shield The strongest of your team be wary FOR I AM THE ANTICARRY
Seeing as everyone keeps asking and talking about the Poppy rework, I thought I'd throw in something i wrote a long time ago. Please forgive the crudity of the poem, as the original was damaged and I had to reconstruct it from memory (and that's like 3 years old) it's a bit of my own interpretation, but I hope people like it.
