Moscow Five

As somebody who started following competitive league relatively recently, I sometimes feel as though I'm missing a bit of context in the scene as a whole. One of the things I'm most curious about is the old Moscow Five - I understand that they were one of the most dominant teams in the world for a time, but it's difficult to find actual tape of their play. It seems like a lot of tournaments of the day were less publicized than they are now, and it can be challenging to figure out "Oh, this was a big event, I should check that out" or "Oh, that was a 4 team invitational, it doesn't matter."

So - what were some of M5's most impressive performances? Were there any really impressive innovations that they developed that I could see on tape? I feel kinda lost when I try to research them or search for their games on youtube.

It's 3 games from when M5 and TSM were at their peaks.

After a while I noticed that almost every game in Pro Play is listed as "(team) vs (team)" for one tag and another could be "(event)" like IEM Kiev is the event, but M5 vs TSM is the team vs team tag. Try just searching "M5 vs" and you'll probably get quite a few good results.

I know. I've followed Gambit since I first started watching LCS - I use Moscow Five to refer to that period in their history as much as anything else.
