I read somewhere that they can still go to play offs is that true? Also if they do go to playoffs does that mean dig will lose their spot?

They can't make playoffs, but if they win, and Team8 loses, they'll be in 7th, which means they don't forfeit their points if they win that tiebreaker vs Team8, and they'd have to run the gauntlet to reach the World Championship.

The team that wins the split playoffs automatically qualifies. After that, 2nd place gets 90 points, 3rd gets 70, 4th gets 50, 5th gets 30, 6th gets 10. After that, the team with the most points gets in. After that, all the remaining teams that still have points, go into a miracle gauntlet, and the winner of that gets the final spot. I think....

You are mostly correct, except there are only 4 teams in the gauntlet (not counting the automatic qualifier and the team with the most points). So if Cloud9 gets 7th, they will most likely kick Dignitas out of the gauntlet.

Well, C9 has a tiebreaker for 7th now. Their destiny is in their hands.

They still would have to beat Team8, and then Gravity/TL/TIP/CLG/TSM (3 out of the 5).

Not playoffs, regional qualifiers. They need to get 7th to keep their circuit points from last split, which gives them a chance to qualify for worlds.
