If only 4 teams can go to worlds. Sucks that either Cloud 9 or Immortals will be eliminated from Worlds.

Well IWC are waste of space honestly

Worlds is meant for Good Team, not for Team to go earn international exp. (Isn't that what MSI for) But instead Riot giving these spot to IWC Team which is total waste because they'll likely lose all their match and everyone is expecting them to lose hard ofc

So instead of giving these spot to better Regional Team to make the scene more competitive and harder, they're making it easier for which ever bracket have the IWC in it. (Its free win for which ever Team that gets to play with IWC) if they lose, mean they don't deserve to win Worlds

Yeah the Wildcard teams are really the teams that get put against the 1st seeds as a Good job award for being the final 4 at MSI and the region as a whole is weak but that was something that NA was also being talked about for years Season 1-2-3 that NA was a weak region.

You can't take away that the IWC teams can and have in the past had huge upsets like Pain winning over CLG and Kabuum winning over Alliance which both of those wins eliminated CLG and ALL from Worlds but the overall record for the past 2 years is like 3-21 W/L.

I wouldn't mind the IWC teams being at worlds as it should be a World event and not just Korea/China/Eu/NA but I wouldn't mind more teams at Worlds.

As far as the LCS goes 8 teams were in the EU and NA LCS and now 10 so maybe the competition weakened across the board sure the top 4 teams in both regions should be at worlds but the last 3-4 teams are pure garbage but if the Regions are adding more teams into the region so should Worlds in my opinion.

You can't keep adding more and more guests for dinner if the " Main Course"(worlds) is so small.

I still think TSM shouold have done some sneaky stuff and let C9 win so, C9, TSM, and IMT would represent NA this season at worlds. I think those 3 teams have the best shot at worlds this year, and unless CLG improves a lot, they will not do well in my opinion.

If they did that, they wouldn't win the full prize, I think its like 30k $ for first place winner each split something like that

Dude, they could easily do behind the back money trade offs to give free wins... its really not unheard of. I doubt they would actually do it, but it isn't impossible.

Maybe Cloud 9 and Immortals are a better team than CLG possibly at Worlds but I'v seen MSI and I have Faith in CLG with their roster to do well at Worlds, will they win the championship I don't think so but will they do decent and make NA proud yes I believe so.

Also why would TSM lose to C9 on purpose by doing so TSM would give up their 1st seed at Worlds and make it even harder on themselves just so they can bank on another NA team to do well.
