League of Legends is played with 5 players. A competitive team should consist of 5 players. At least if one team can have more than 5 to freely swap a player in and out for a role than so should the other team, but thats not the case right now.

while it can be argued that switching in blank for bengi in game 4 only hurt skt, it still gave time for bengi to relax and refocus for game 5, a game in which he came up huge. Even in Rox vs SKT, it was thanks to that bengi swap in that won skt their spot to the finals. for season 7, Riot NEEDS to remove subs for teams. Keep it five, and let the FIVE best players win worlds.

Ummmm. No. Subs are needed. If a player gets sick or for whatever reason can't play what do you do? DQ the team because of food poisoning? Nope.

So makes perfect sense to have subs. Also all other sports also have subs.

To be fair Blank was utter shit that game. He completely lost it for SKT T1 by himself. They might have gone 3-1 SKT T1 Win if they kept Bengi in instead of switching him out for Blank.

Every team in the Pro scene has subs. SKT actually TRUSTS their sub to come up big at the most important times. CLG has Yoonda but never use him because he probably sucks. TSM has Regi and Oddone as subs but the year isn't 2014. C9 has like 2 challenger players but LCS >Challenger.
