first things first. we cant expect anything from eu this year. at least i dont at all. sorry eu this year i'll chear for na and wildcards.

im not sure about na, for IMT its about how much huni and reignover will tilt again. tsm? cant really talk about them, they usually look good before the big stage and then... they usually fail at the group stage 3rd team? clg?

korea looks sloopy this season but in my opinion once again the favorite.

cant talk about lpl and wildcards sry :/

I think Korea is going to be favorites and for the right reason obviously. I don't think they've been sloppy (with the exception of some accidents in champ select maybe), but I'll be honest in saying that I haven't been keeping an extremely close eye on it. Either way, anyone in Korea (except maybe CJ) can take a win off of anyone, so I think they'll come out of it pretty strong.

LPL is a little odd, but it's the LPL so what do you expect? Only RNG and EDG have really shown consistency imo, the third seed for LPL probably won't make it very far, but EDG and RNG can probably put up a fight if they don't choke or something.

EU I haven't seen much of, but G2 and FNC are definite seeds thus far, H2K will probably be the 3rd, but I don't know about how well they'd do at Worlds. Also, bigger surprises have come before. I think it was either last season or 2014 when NA was expected to do decently while EU was considered an underdog and the exact opposite happened when no NA teams made it out of the group stage while I think all of EU's teams made it out, so I wouldn't count EU out yet.

NA is looking decent, but I don't think the top teams are being tested enough. IMT and TSM are looking like 2 of the seeds, but the last seed is just a crap-shoot at this point. Envy looked like they could pop onto the scene and take a spot, but they're sinking like a rock now. Echo Fox is dying in a corner, NRG is trying to keep their heads above water, Apex is tilted to hell, P1 is coming back to life, but might be a little too late. C9 and TL are the only ones who can really be considered able enough to put up a fight at Worlds currently imo (CLG is looking better, but need to get some polish before they're ready imo), but with the Championship points CLG got from Spring, they might still make it.

LMS is an interesting look based on how JT and FW have been doing. AHQ seems to have dropped a notch, but they might make a run during playoffs or their qualifiers. I think they'll have both make it out of the group stage with at least one of them topping their group.

IWCs are interesting to think about. INTZ has already qualified for the IWCQ, and they place 3rd/4th at the IWCI, so maybe they improved a bit to get them into Worlds. I think either Turkey or the LCL will take the 1st seed and probably take a few games off some teams considering Super Massive almost got some games off a few teams at MSI. I don't think they'll get out of the group stage, but it would be interesting to see if they did.

If winning both splits, one undefeated, and making semis in worlds is tilting..... I'd love to be able to tilt like that.

If anyone could have been said to have choked in worlds it was the NA. One team was 3-0 then lost three and lost a tie breaker. Buh Bye. Both other teams also lost their last three and failed to qualify out of group. Zero for their last 10. Cough cough cough.

You can't blame that all on Huni. Games 1 and 2 were ultimately decided by Febiven going down without doing damage in the deciding fight. He flat out got deleted. Oh and how is Fnatic doing without Huni and reignover? Not nearly what they were.

NA TEAM SOLOMID-Really the favorites for NA. They improved so much from a year ago and their old strategies of A. Camp mid and only mid is gone. B. Leave Top to die and get camped is gone. And their just overall team first mentality is great if Top gets 1v3 they get a tower if not 2 for their top sacrifice.

IMMORTALS- They have a Chinese type of fighting set and their good at it too, they want to fight fight fight and it works....in NA.
Really tough picking the 3rd team for NA

  1. CLG they looked AMAZING at MSI but once the summer split started looked BAD, Darshan lost his magic-Huhi wasn't impressive with such a watered down competition as opposed to MSI but their starting to look good again nothing big but just small improvements. Wouldn't be surprised if huhi plays Kennen just for the roam ability and he just seems like a roaming in your face type of player. All he does and seems to want to do is roam and he isn't the best at kiting out as a mid laner.

  2. C9 CANT EVER COUNT THEM OUT! countless reverse sweeps and if they do go to WORLDS expect another tie breaker as that too is their trademark 2 years in a row with WORLDS Tie-Breakers. Meteos has also REALLY IMPRESSED me after a break of LCS comes back is really looking like a 3-2 team Jungler behind Reignover and Sven

  3. TL They just don't look like a team ready for WORLDS sadly. Each game Dardoch seems like he has to carry and if falls behind its pretty much over at that point. He also has this mindset of competing with Reignover 24/7 ALL THE TIME that costs his team the game.
Fabbyy plays SUPER PASSIVE for such a Hype player he really needs to bust out and go crazy IMP-WILDTURTLE have shown that it can be rewarded from that type of play style. Where is the Draven Wouldn't be surprised if he pulls it out in Team Liquid's last game of the split.

My money on TSM IMMORTALS and C9

I think if someone wins,it will not be from NA. No offense,TSM. Azir SKT has over 70% wins so i think they will be in the top four or higher.
