Probably, the problem is that what are you going to do about it ? You said it beautifully " League of legends is just like sports now" as I'm sure you're referring to NFL/NBA etc, where it's the same winners year in and year out(NE/CLE/GSW/PIT/CHI) and the same stories just recycled(LAC/Chris Paul can't make it to the second round of the playoffs, the same goes for WSH/Ovechkin), similar to say League(TSM) at Worlds to some degree.
"Corrupted organizations" I mean that's everywhere, my job for example can be viewed as "corrupted" as we would rather stay open for 7 days a week, even tho we need to be closed for 1 day of the week to really get the store cleaned and organized but would rather "push" employees to the "max" to make that top dollar each day.
"Bottom line" - is that "rigging" isn't going away anytime soon. As well as looking at "tragic events" that happens, you tend to really find the next "winners" in most sports, "Hurricane Irma/Florida/Marlins/Ray/Heat/Magic/Jaguars/Dolphins/Buccs/Panthers/Lightning" - Don't be surprised if a few of these teams become some type of runner-ups or winners in their respective sports in the next 1-2 years.
