Steeelback was a liability last time, when they went 3-2 to (a weaker, but still strong) SKT team, and now that they have Rekkles and he's playing out of his mind, they could win. Especially with Febiven doing well enough to not get destroyed by the improved Faker.

Yeah, I think overall LPL teams struggled because they stopped evolving in the last crucial month and an half leading into World tournaments that was the key period to put together the winning strategy and communication to perform at Worlds because they lie down upon all the praise they were receiving all season long Still, EDG was still capable to handly beat a tough team like H2K is, and the quality of their players in every role is undeniable, so have a so clear control of the series for Fnatic is no negigible achievement
C9 Scott Free 2 votesTbh H2K isn't a world class team anyway. That's been s weakness of NA and eU. We always seem to have one or two teams that matter like in S3 with Gmb Fnc C9 and S4 with TSM All Fnc and C9

Ale non è male1 votesHjarnan and Ryu can carry games, tbh, just they are overall inferior to top tier teams at worlds like SKt and EDG. I would have been curious to see them playing vs teams in groupA, tbh, they could have either battled for 1st place or for last place

The game was pretty even on that point but EDG had a mordekaiser who kind of falls off once the game hits lategame (he loses his lvl advantage and gets easily kited) while Fnatic has Vayne and GP that scale really well. EDG only had Kassadin that scales well. Wether or not that game went on, it's a pretty clean 3-0 for FNC.
