Left completely on his own time and time again, ZERO jungle help, ZERO support help, they don't even chat with him on coms and barely even glance in his direction during pre-game. People dont understand, Dyrus is actually one of the best Top Laners in NA, easily Top3. Yes TSM sucked at MSI, no arguing that fact and they all played below average but coming back to TSM as a team.
TSM wins, and that isn't because Bjergsen carries every game, to be honest he doesn't. Bjergsen is just a skilled Mid Laner in a meta that focuses on Mid play making champs so he picks up 1 or 2 solo kills and gets all the shine for the rest of the game. Not to knock Bjerg hes the best mid in NA easily, probably overall the best player on TSM as well but he does NOT carry TSM as a team.
Why is Dyrus one of the best top laners in NA? Because he does what the top laner NEEDS to do in the current meta to WIN GAMES. People are so blinded over "carry top laner Quaz" and "carry top laner Zion" that they dont stop and realize those guys LOSE. The same reason all the analysts though CLG would beat TSM both times this split, because they have more "play makers". No, Zion jumps around trying to be an assassin, they all camp Dyrus top and in the end TSM wins because they knows who has to make the plays (Bjerg and Santorin), they know who has to not wander off for kills and instead tank damage (Dyrus) and they know who dps (Turtle).
Fans and analysts are starting to give more points for "making flashy plays" top instead of doing what you are supposed to do, farm, get tanky, and stand in front of your team. No jump off trying to assassinate someone and leaving your team to die cause LCSBigPlays.
The reason TSM did horrible at MSI is they weren't used to people focusing Dyrus in bans, instead of Bjergsen. And they went in trying to play like the other regions instead of trying to play like the best team in NA. If TSM stuck to their regions unique style that they mastered, they would have placed 3rd in groups as expected. That means
Top - Tanky, simple, big, disruption, utility Jungle - Mobility, tanky, disruption Mid - High DPS, play maker, pick-off skills ADC - Utility, DPS Support - Utility, pick-off skills
Korea isnt the best because they are born with natural skills. They are the best because they master their meta and stick with it. Tell me how will TSM practice Korean, Chinese or European styles for 2 weeks and think they can match a foreign region at their style of gameplay. Instead you bring your own North American style of play and even if SKT is overall better than TSM, TSM still can win because SKT has to adapt to NA style something they dont play against every day in Korea.

Man Dyrus is a good player
Compared to me and a majority of league of legends players, yes. He is good. Compared to the current roster of professional top lane players, he is probably near the bottom of the rankings list. They ignore his lane because he doesn't carry games. It's more important to try and get wild turtle and/or bjerson fed rather than waste any time at all on dyrus' lane.
I am calling it now. TSM will go to worlds and get stomped due to the quality of Dyrus' play and they will get rid of him and find a new top laner that they can actually have a chance with.

I don't think they hate him.And i don't think he is bad.If he was bad Regi would have fired him a long time ago.I guess their strategy is on the carries.And hope Dyrus can hold his own in top.Unfortunately that leads to the situation you describe.Were he dies a few times and people make him the scapegoat.
