The problem I see comes twofold:
A) The olympics have done nothing but ruin the economies of the countries they've touched (will link an article at the bottom about what's happened since the Rio ones), thus you kinda have to ask if you really "want" something like this at there
B) Even if "Esports" were added to the olympics (which even then, would be rather complicated as unlike swimming there are different ones requiring different skillsets), I see esports benefitting far less than the olympics will off this deal, as barring the opening ceremonies the viewerbase for olympic sports tends to be quite shallow.
