The best part is that since C9 won against Najin, this means that Kabum actually knocked Alliance out of the world championships.

That match was easily one of the highlights of the season for me.

Alliance went 3-1 with every team in EU Summer Split, and 3-1 against every team in the playoffs.

Now, you could look at that like "Holy shit, they have a 75% win rate against Fnatic!"

But you could also look at that like "Holy shit they lost to the Copenhagen Wolves."

The team plays to the level of their opponents, and it bit them in the ass. I hope C9 can put up a good showing against Blue in their place.

The commentators that I read all predicted that Alliance would win the division or at least take 2nd and go on to beat some of the Korean teams.

I do wonder how competent MonteCristo really is if he couldn't see that NA>EU or at least NA=EU?

The EU analysts had a major boner for Alliance. It's the EU Super Team. Somehow, C9 was underrated in their group. I think Fnatic was the best EU team in the group stage. Unfortunately for them, they were in the toughest group.

I was with crumbz a lot on the predictions. I personally predicted the exact 100% of how groups would end, but I wouldn't have expected some of the outcomes at all. Either Crumbz is the next prophet, a lucky guesser, or well researched. It seemed like some of the other picks were made off of pure region based or the popular picks. I saw a little analysis overall by the commentators, but some of the matches were kind of out there. I mean I though LMQ would be last in their group, but I wasn't expecting them to have such a strong start. I thought they would actually prove me wrong in a good way since Apple Pie would prevail lol

Crumbz was just being a BR homer. If there was a team from Ireland in the wild card, I'd predict them to get a win, too because that's my descent. I don't know why people are giving his "prediction" any weight.

wait you thought that the argument of who is better would just end? NA and EU will always fight over this and right now it just makes it that much more interesting as a whole.

NA vs EU is again a stalemate..

Head to Head is at 3-3 (although 1 cannot predict how TSM would have done vs SK Game 1 with Svenskeren) W-L against Koreans is better for EU - 2-2 for EU and 1-3 for NA W-L against Wildcards is better for NA

Just because 2 NA got out of the group doesnt mean NA > EU

Having said that, I think C9 has a better chance of beating S Blue than TSM does of beating S White.. But anything can happen.. Both my fav teams (LMQ and Alliance) got knocked out so I am rooting for 1 of the 3 Chinese teams to win Worlds (preferable SHRC coz of inSec)
