Once again TSM prove why they are the best team in the NA LCS, deserved victory with a nice comeback in game 4

*Best team at this brief moment in time pending various outside factors are in their favor.
It's a damn shame the Tank meta and the ADC trend to hyper carries late game favors TSM so much. Doublelift looked pretty ordinary early in the split, the started to do better, wasn't until finally the huge meatwalls came back for him to hide behind did he find his stride again.
Also a damn shame Flame has sputtered. As Hulk would say "puny fire" if he can't leverage a four kill lead into any meaningful presence in teamfights.
So disappointed. I desperately wanted a team of misfit players to complete the narrative of teamwork trumping Star players in NA.
Good for your? Your team is luckier than other teams. Roll of the dice.
Overall it was honestly the most competitive Finals' series that I'v seen, barring it only went to 4 games, 1 game shy of 5 but highly competitive in just 4 games was really a treat.
As for Worlds I'll take some time before I say too much but for now I will say I'm pretty confident in TSM in making a fairly decent run at this year's Worlds(Semi-Finals), just off their performance in Finals.
Other reasons being I think the LPL overall is honestly weak...... not garbage just a little weaker than last year, and wouldn't surprise me if 2 if not all of the LPL seeds get eliminated in the group stage/play in stage.
But for right now let's talk about TSM and IMT on a fantastic series and what it could mean later on, down the road.
Biofrost has even more experience under his belt and a well deserved MVP, his engages were on point and his Rakan will most likely get banned in future events. Biofrost wasn't the only reason on TSM's elimination in Season 6 Worlds but his inexperience was, quite honestly and it really showed from his performance but also TSM's.
People have been saying that Hauntzer is getting a little too cocky and I do see it from him, from his interviews and now after winning NA LCS again, he is becoming cocky but let's just take a step back shall we, look at the previous TSM top laners and their overall personalities shall we?
Rainman never really cared, and most of that was really how young he was during his stint with TSM, as well as how under-developed the league was back in those days 2011-12.
The next is Dyrus and I can't find this quote, interview or post, so please forgive me but as far as "cockiness" from Hauntzer, Dyrus was really the opposite if not the middle man between Hauntzer and Rainman and I'm paraphrasing " I didn't really try to win(at Worlds) until season 4(2014 Worlds) and really having a personality of a sloth if you will.
I for one would rather take a cocky player over a very passive aggressive player or a rage, banned constantly player anyday.
As far as Immortals goes, I'm shocked ! This is a very smart and methodical team, they've showed patience(not 24/7) but it is concerning on how IMT really just fell off hard if not ahead early, reminds me of LMQ back in 2014 and SSB the same year, they really need to work on their individual performances which isn't that far off from great at this point as they have the teamwork and great shotcalling etc but a little bit off from say a SSW 1/2 in my mind.
NA is being represented by 2 great teams for Worlds and I'm proud to have them doing so. Again, great series from both teams and make us proud !
Yeah they did play well, but what makes it frustrating to me is that Immortals had the lead and had the win, and then they just threw it all away with some greedy plays. Not trying to take anything away from TSMs comeback or anything like that as it shows the veteran status of these players shine through, but I'm just disappointed that there wasn't a game 5 this time around when there honestly should have been with the way IMT was playing in the early game.
