This is beyond under preforming. They are just playing flat out badly.

Though this is true, they seem even worse than normal this time. I think the 'Meta' has gotten to them and they now are sacrificing personal skills and synergies for 'meta strong' or 'popular' champs like Darius and Elise who both have not helped them.

Kinda funny considering C9 is using solo-queue picks, yet still pulling off ridiculous upsets in their group. Mind you, one could argue that people aren't expecting as much out of them as they are out of T(eam) S(crews-up) M(id-game).

That's one of the things I like about this new C9. They aren't afraid to use cheesy champions or strategies. If it works, they'll do it.

Yeah, it's like that break between the end of the summer and gauntlet gave them a non-chalent attitude that none of the other teams have. Don't get me wrong, they still have obvious weaknesses to target (top lane/their over-reliance on sneaky to bail them out of bad situations) and took a bit less difficult path through the gauntlet (with gravity and TIP playing pretty poorly in the latter half of the summer), but considering where they came from halfway through the season one could argue anything they do at worlds will be considered a huge success.

Oh, and I like to think TSM has what I like to call "Cincinnati Bengals Syndrome". Good in the regular season, but come playoff/"big game" time they remain suspiciously quiet.
