How good ARE TSM and CLG compared to others this worlds?

I have a feeling that this might be the first year in a long time where if all goes right, you could actually see CLG or TSM playing for the world championship

not winning

but playing for it

my initial thoughts are it's going to be whoever wins between Koo Tigers and SKT against RNG, but lets say RNG fucks up like they did at MSI

I would be happy even to see clg or tsm take 2nd place in a 0-3 stomp

as it's a planetary sized leap forward for the region

If they do make it. Neither team will be 0-3 in a finals match. Both are good enough to at least take one game off

Asian teams have shown in the past that they can adapt to the Western teams in a best of Series. Western teams best chances to make something happen is in a BO1 in the group stage.

Cloud 9 got 100% destroyed by SKT and it showed the difference in the BO1 can only imagine what SKT can do to C9 in a best of series or any team against a western team.

western teams are good in best of 1s. korean teams usually win series. i bet samsung would beat tsm in a best of 5. because they adapt way better
