TSM WILDTURTLE
He's back!
He's back!
Not exactly the "biggest" LCS news, as there were some rumors of him joining either TSM or Dignitas. Also not the biggest news of the day, as the aformentioned dignitas added Ssumday and Chaser to replace ray/shrimp, adding to the slowly increasing number of high-quality imported toplaners.
I'm excited to see WIldturtle back with TSM. Since joining the LCS I always felt a rivalry between Wildturle and D-Lift and now that they're both on the same team hopefully their banter can carry over in W's for the team and carry them to the next level.
The NA LCS is going to be epic with all of these trades/swaps that's for sure!

It should be noted that the overall specifics weren't released when it came to his contract with them, so for all we know he's just playing with them for 6 months before DL takes back over. That being said, you have to feel really bad for all the other NA teams out there. Teams like P1 are using import slots to try and get non-garbo ADC's for the upcoming split, meanwhile TSM has two high-quality ones and they don't have to make any adjustments whatsoever.
I do feel bad for the "lower tier" teams but not that bad considering some of these lower teams might not have the best ADC but they're developing into decent teams overall with the other positions on the team.
Let's not forget every ADC has their own play-style "mid or high tier ADC" and they only need sub-par players around them to be something. Stixxay for example not a lot of people knew who that guy was and he proved to be a "high tier" adc on a team that everyone thought was going to be garbage since Pobelter and D-Lift left.
Every NA ADC is different with how they play and if teams can figure how to get them rolling with the team it can be beneficial to both parties.
APOLLO- Plays similar to cop not as scared but very methodical and slow paced if Apex now Dignitas would trade him; he would make a perfect fit with Echo Fox w/Froggen. He's played countless 40+ min games and not 1 word from Apollo about playing X amount of 40+min games. So he's fine playing those longer games similar to Froggen. 88-434-283-741-35013 are Apollo's Career regular season stats Out of the 88 Regular season games he has played in close to 42 have been 40+ min games.
Rather have seen Turtle go to another team. He wasn't happy on TSM before as he more and more was told not to play how he wanted (Flash backward not forward). Think this will more likely be another suffocating stint on TSM for him. Maybe he will find a better home in Summer split.
Yeah I didn't like how TSM treated Turtle when he was playing bad.
They benched him for like 1-2 games and was like " ok you did you learn your lesson? or you going to be good now?"
While Turtle did get caught out multiple times and so did Lustboy; in which I would argue Lustboy was the one that actually got caught out multiple times and being the ADC you follow your support but once things got hairy Lust would sacrifice himself to save Turtle but you can't out run 3-4 enemies so Turtle would go down soon after.
At the time TSM really needed to look at their roster.
Dyrus was decreasing in skill/had no motivation to keep playing/and really felt like bait for his whole career with no ganks or vision but most of the blame was put on him for 3 years because he would die multiple times but when you have no help or vision what do you expect
Santorin; I'v never liked Santorin, good player but the way he plays is just farm heavy and on a TSM team at the time they really needed a jungler that actually ganks and helps instead he would just farm and really felt like he only played for KDA.
Bjergsen was playing reactionary the whole split he wouldn't anything but farm which makes sense when 4 out of the 5 wouldn't do anything but when he would have 350 cs and Turtle and Dyrus would have 210 HE would go down bot or top to get 3-4 waves of cs instead letting his teammates who were behind in CS farm so the pressure would be on his shoulders to carry.
Overall when you average 42 mins per game as TSM did during the Summer Split against much weaker competition in NA, it doesn't fall on 1 player but the whole team.
Dont care for TSM in general. Although I am now curious to see what happens if Turtle crushes the spring split if he gets tossed aside in favor of Doublelift for the summer split.
