Guess my dad just saw a commercial for a league of legends event happening on May 17th during the San Antonio spurs game. Anyone know what that was for/or saw it as well?

Only thing I know that is going on around that time would be MSI, but I'm pretty sure thats early may not mid may.

I didn't know Riot made commercials for League in the first place Sugarland this is news to me.

I'm nearly 100% sure it isn't a Riot event. Looking it up, I'm seeing nothing on the internet for esports of any kind. Additionally, there is no guaranteed Spurs game on the 17th, as they may either not make it out of first round, end the Semifinal series early, or just not end up playing that day.

So are you trolling, or is he? The closest thing I'm finding that would actually be marketed is TBS's Eleague (CS:GO) on May 24 in Atlanta.
