My take is because even with ShernFire - who wasn't even their liability mind you - Liquid was still outmatched in other parts of the match. I wouldn't generally pretend Broxah would have won it for them either.
On the other side of the coin, C9 proved they can take a game beyond early and maintain it. Something countless fans and analysts were sharp about whether they could do so.
Still, it's a one game sample size. If I was willing to shrug Fnatic's first loss against Origen, I can shrug this off as well
