Can they go on and do well at worlds though? I mean every time they destroy every single other NA team, and then go on to worlds and...flop completely. Not sure why that is, but I'm relatively annoyed at a team that's so incredibly powerful domestically but just cant perform on the worlds stage.
Anyone got an idea?

It's because, despite what they promise each year, TSM plays to keep their stranglehold on NA and not for international success.
Their entire philosophy is centered around holding NA down by exploiting its specific meta but that leaves them with little or no ability to adapt to different styles.
It's no coincidence that, when TSM is not at an international event, NA tends to over perform expectations, as other teams are more able to adapt. Or why, for many regions that are not Korea, the second or third seeds tend to do better in general.
G2 over in EU had this problem their first few splits, but they seem to have corrected this while TSM just seems content to double down on the strat.
Probably the junglers fault.

They will just lose more.
They're something like 1x-4 in game score since week 4 I believe. It's cohesiveness, champ pool, authentic synergy, and a coach not afraid to test the waters with other strats. Add that the Academy team showed up quite big in the latter part of their split and all of playoffs to their title, something is hella clicking with this meta for both rosters.
I think it's just the people they had in previous years. And an unwillingness to adjust their playstyle based on the meta and the region they play against. They've showcased in this split that they can adjust their playstyle. Now the question is, when and if we go on to fight other regions, can we match their playstyle and adjust.
