Why no tristana in lcs anymore?

i think tristana is really strong and she got played A LOT in lcs, her pushing power with the e is insane, her jump is also really strong if timed right why does noone play her anymore? did i miss some nerfs?

no particular reason, pros sometimes just lean towards some things without much reflection (currently massivly overvaluing Lucian).

That's not right It is true that teams and players at times are tunnel visioned too much towards meta picks or really overvalue certain picks instead of trying something different, but the thing is that at the moment there are just too much picks ahead of Tristana to make teams pick her regularly

Kalista, Lucian, Corki, Graves (even if he used almost exclusively as jungler he can still run as marksmen)), Ezreal, even Caitlyn are strong picks in most team environments. And not even double-trpile marksmen comp help her, as Quinn and Kindred occupy the other spots , along with the fact that except Kalista and Caitlyn the other power pick can play various roles and can use in combination each other without the ned to expand the marksmen pool by going with some off-meta ADC (example Varus pick of the last season) Add in the patch oddities like early season MF and the actual Kog, and the other powerful champs that are now a bit in the shadows like Jinx and others, and is very difficult to find a place for Tristana

P.S. if anything the overrated pick is not Lucian that is sitting around 50% win rate despite his wide use it is Ezreal that was picked for the ulti clear and the supposed early-mid game spike but he is really mediocre at the moment and can be more often that not overpowered by the sheer strength of a lot of other champs

the thing is though - tris atm fits the meta perfectly. most teams try to avoid early risks by just laneswapping and trading turrets early on - sth. tris is rather proficient at. and once the swaps are made and everone has farmed to 2-3items tris is already very powerfull in teamfights, only getting stronger from there. She also plays insanly well into multi-threat comps that are fairly popular atm due to her strong self-peel and the ability to just take turrets within one wave once you get a slight edge on the map.

She´s sure not as broken as Koggy atm, but a lot stronger than people give her credit for. And Lucian might sit at a 50%winrate, but it´s not his doing most of the times - he´s just too risky to carry fights on his own if you´re not ahead or don´t comp him with a lulu to keep him save while going ham. If a team with a Lucian falls behind you can be 90%certain they won´t come back. Even Ez has better fallback patterns.

I disagree. Trist early game is lackluster and she is not proficient at taking tower before lvl 5-6, at which point usually the lane swap and turret trade has yet happened Trist is not bad either, but it is just that there are so many pick ahead of herin the mind of the teams (for good or for wrong) that basically they never come down the list of the marksmen pick enough to make teams pick her

Also, these multi threat comps usually have little engage, which is not good for trist too as one of her strongest point is the clean-up with the reset on the jump, so it is not like that she is too favoured by that

Ez has better fallback patterns than Lucian? Lol. Those pathetic no dmg ults when he is behind that can barely kill waves (and often they do not do it so) and just scratches enemy champ skins? That is a really overrated pick, he is in meta because he is one of the few adcs with a dash, has a not terrible early to mid game and "wave clear" with ult, but he is just terrible in every other facet and lackluster overall. Even when he wins he does far less damage than what he should and basically get carried damage wise

I would imagine she'll still see play in some siege comps because that's her specialty. Even after the marksmen update she's still the fastest tower pusher of any ADC.
