the 2 main reasons why NA is doing so bad

na has 2 major problems that both go hand in hand

  1. "if a player doesnt perform well once, we kick him and import another one" there is no teambuilding synergie at all. how many times did an eu team have 0-2 players on a team? having to build the team new cause na bought the players. and yet this newly build team did way better than na.

  2. gold mine for players that want to retire. many eu pros said it at one point. before they retire, they wanna spent 1 year in na because na pays up to 5 times as much as eu does and they dont really have to perform. how many eu players went to na only to retire 1 or 2 splits later?

these are imo the biggest problems of na. and i bet if tsm could, they would buy caps doinb faker and rookie + bjergsen and put them all on the same team. 5 midlaners cause "they are all the best". if you ever watched yugioh, na is basically like joeys deck in the first season. 1 spell card, 1 trap card, 80 monsters cause "they are all the best". and everyone tries to battle him cause free victory.

idk why im making this post because i know it will have 0 influence of the broken stupid mentality of na teams but i felt like it. pretty much every caster/analyst said it as one point. the na mentality of importing is shit and bites na in the ass all the time.

There are other problems. -LCS matches only being 1 game. -Some LCS players are OLD by standards of other regions, a huge lack of young talent growing in the region, in part because... -Streaming and entertaining people can make more money than being a pro, and you don't have to be as good! -The multi-layer issue of NA SoloQ and lack of good practice for pros. -Pure mismanagement by NA teams. Three of the "long term" franchises Riot picked have flopped and are replaced.

There's so much wrong that NA is a steaming mess.

One of the main issues is the return of Best of 3's!

Teams would be more willing to try out newer players for more games if they had more games to do so.
Riot doesn't want Best of 3's to return because of $ issues and views.

Similar to what others have stated numerous times is that NA as a region is the retirement home for many LCS players.
You think NA is bad currently just wait, just wait when some of these older guards like Meteos(26 years old), Sneaky(25 years old), Froggen(25 years old), D-Lift(26 years old), Xmithie(28 years old), Aphromoo(27 years old), retire and/or are already streaming/retired ATM.

Many of our developed talents that we think are ready go from Academy to the LCS and get owned like Soligo from 100 Thieves( played 10 games in the LCS and is currently 0-10 - with a KDA of 15 kills - 25 deaths and 21 assists)

in which up to that point had one of the better Academy coaches in Kelsey Moser and an Org that a year prior had it's first Finals in it's inaugural split, an MVP and 3 All-1st team players and Worlds.

I mean it's sad when Ssumday and Darshan literally turned the Academy league into their playground. There's so much within the NA LCS that's it really is a who-who argument on what can be done, if anything at this stage of the game.
