i had a ~10min talk with this person about this topic. he was pretty relaxed, he/she/they just think using emojis is toxic.

Isn't there a setting to disable seeing emotes? It's like people complaining about /All chat to me. Just turn it off.

I mean its BMing. not really toxic. just annoying. I'd prob say if you BM me irl id punch you in the face. Take the victory and leave.
I find proper emotes used at the correct timings to be hilarious.
BM (Bad Manners) and Toxic are two different things.
Toxic is ruining your teammates game by flaming your own team, or int feeding, or blaming people.
Being Cocky, Emotes, and BMing is perfectly fine, and it is usually a bad idea because not respecting your opponents comes back to bite your butt, as you all know it happens to TSA every time they try to BM in the LCS.
Now this is an interesting topic because Chat client is in the game, and so are the emotes/voice emotes. One can get you banned while the other cannot.
I think chat should only get you chat banned, because it is in the game, and no one can control how it is used, same as the emotes with BMing.

If he thinks emotes are toxic he should complain to riot, they're the ones who made them.
I mean when there's an option to mute emotes I don't really agree... Emotes are part of the game so obviously they're able to be used however you wanna use em lol
