So how long will fortnite stay above lol in viewcount?
seems like the moment it hit mobile it now dominates twitch.

honestly fortnite is to shooters what league is to mobas
and shooters are way more popular, most of us have played a few of them
hell I love CoD from time to time... though it's also a crap game too, I love it

I would agree with this, though I am terrible at shooters.
My cousin who is much more into the competitive gaming scene than I am explained it to me like this, "The Koreans have a monopoly on most strategy based games while Americans have mostly a monopoly on shooter games." altho it might have been less tactful than that, that was the gist of it.
So it would in general make sense for Fortnite to take a lead temporarily for awhile. But shooters rarely last very long. But also, who knows, we have entered somewhat of a new generation for them. If they can keep a dynamic playstyle going that can compete with a game like League, then honestly, they deserve it.
Once Ninja dies
first person shooters have always been more popular than diety controlled combat.
I give it a maximum of 2 years.
Well as long as the one is more fun to play and watch than the other, the streamers wont change the game.
