Any female professional leagues players?

Besides what happened to team Siren...I was wondering why we don't see any women on professional teams. Maybe I have missed them? Also, how does one get a team sponsor...?

Not saying I am good enough, and by the time I reach a point, I will probably considered too old :( I'm 21 and there aren't many professionals older than 20.

Colain from TPA is one of the few female pro league players although she doesn't play herself instead managing the other team Taipei Snipers.

Erm...You know I could care less what age the player is as long as they can play the game and compete on a certain level i'd watch them. Hell if you make a team and you start getting into MLG or any other partner league, just drop me a link to your stream or videos. I'd watch! ^^

I never heard of Team Siren although I will check them out, perhaps I could find something? There are really good female players out there, just gotta look harder.

You bring up a good point though, I'd like to see a few more women playing on streams. More diversity is good as long as the game doesn't become a sausage fest or tit carnival!

I just found this link, sorry for the double post. This article explains what happened with some player insight from Team Siren.

I agree that an all female team would be interesting but I don't think it would be the best to bring in a team that started brining "empowered women" thinking into the game. There is no need for a march of -ism in LoL, I believe in equality and not feminism/masculism. There are ZERO reasons anything like this should be brought into League, because honestly everyone is treated fairly in the game.

Also, I get the wanting to be proud of being an all female team but naming your team "Team Siren" just sends the wrong message entirely. Sirens are untrustworthy, negative, evil. Why would you want to make yourself in the image of something like that? To sound sexy? Trying to sound sexy is just going to create more issues. I don't see Scarra, Voyboy, or Doublelift trying to be sexy!

Anyway there is my help/rant! I hope you get a team going you probably have what it takes to be honest the Pros don't look that skilled its how they operate as a team that wins them title!

I am sad that Siren, had this happen. I feel like they shouldn't represent that ideal considering what happened. I mean, I would like to see this, I know there is some prejudiced against women in gaming. However, I just was curious to see a female in pro play in LOL. I was hoping to do a presentation at my college about this. I am also a Game Room manager at my school, where I host tournaments, including on campus LOL in house games. There are only a few girls that play.

To be honest I had not thought of Siren in a while since I stopped hearing about them, but I was surprised that they were so toxic. That kind of thing just needs to stay out of League in general, we have enough of it thank you. Also doesn't matter who or what you are, if your good at League and you stream it you will get followers. If you are really good you will get a team offer. Stop worrying about whether or not your the right age, sex or whatever and start worrying about if you are at the right skill level for it.
