So I attend Hood College in the United States, and I am very excited to know that many people here play league of legends. I started playing my Freshman year, and back then, Leagues was just starting to get off the ground. As I am in my senior year I am happy to say my on campus job is Game Room manager, so I organize video game events! The favorite of the college is League of Legends night :D I love organizing in houses!

How has League of Legends impacted your college? Do you guys think that college teams might be emerging as a new "pro" team?

League for me, in college, has been something of a double edge sword. But lately it has motivated me to make sure my work is done early so I get to play over the weekend. I do know of a few people on my campus at William Carey University that play, but we do not have a game room or anything like that. So I just play with my friends.

As far as "pro" teams on the collegiate level, I was really excited for Riot to start up the collegiate program, but since the initial reveal... I have not seen anything since. I feel the program has fallen off and I really wish they would pick it back up. Even though I have a rather small college, it would be awesome to see a team to get started up. I think if Riot would put a little more enthusiasm and advertisement into the program, it would definitely take off and we just might start to see "pro" college teams, especially since League of Legends is an official sport now.

I know at our school, we actually have to do things with the administration before we can use the Hood College name as a team. Basically we'd just have to have a different team name...and not use the school unless it was good publicity. That and the one ranked team we have has a hard time getting together because half of them have desktops, the other half have laptops. That...and Leagues can be somewhat of a friendship hurdle. There is always that person who isn't as familiar at Leagues as the rest of teams. That can be a strain.
