IMT let down...

I was so excited for this team seeing my favorite adc teaming up with some of the best players in NA and EU. The hype was real, they were beating everyone (other than CLG) it was so fun watching them completely dominating the NA LCS. There was no doubt in my head that they were not going to win this split. It seemed like everyone else was battling for second place. But then IMT decides to have one of the worst drafts that i have ever seen. Like lucian top...really... Huni can play Ekko, why did he not play Ekko... It just made me sad seeing them get dominated, and losing first round. If u got anything else to chime in, on any of the teams, and who you would have like to see in the finals, id love to read what you guys have to say.

I mean, DoubleLift exposed their weakness really really hard when he talked at the annalists' desk. They are such a one-dimensional team, and they didn't even prepare for the match.

Huni's champion pool was lacking and everyone wonders why on Earth he didn't play Ekko, and Adrian's supports were also super limited. All TSM had to do was play a very meta series, sticking to very strong champions in the current environment and the casters also mentioned it, IMT just outsmarted themselves with such drafts, specially Game 1.

Huni has the same problem that he had last year on FNC. He tilts SO HARD... in my eyes that's what has always kept him from being one of the very best top laners in the world.

At this point I wouldn't be surprised if Liquid took 3rd place on Saturday. What is Huni gonna learn to play tanks in one week? I mean... maybe? But it may be too little too late.

But I've been wrong in the past.

IMT relies on the hyperaggression Huni and Reignover put out. If Huni tilts his team suffers.

Huni probably figured that he'd pull some cheese against TSM, to relive the day when he was with Fnatic at MSI, to tilt TSM. Wasn't Dyrus he was facing at the other end though, but Hauntzer, and Hauntzer didn't fall for it. One of the buildup promos, Huni smugly said that there wasn't any need to practice vs TSM, that he wasn't worried about it. He didn't give Hauntzer any respect, even though Hauntzer has gotten the better of Huni multiple times(like the match where he solo'd Huni without taking a single point of damage).

Only a few people can tilt and actually play better(We1less/GODV is one of them). Huni isn't one of them. It's not that Huni can't play anything but carry, but it's that he REFUSES to.

Adrian has an extremely shallow champion pool(almost "Madwife" Remi depth), and it showed.

It wouldn't surprise me if Riot/Regi made them throw or paid them to do it. They want TSM to remain relevant and to keep the CLG rivalry going. It makes Riot lots of money. Just logic.

I wanted IMT to become world champs and Huni to get an IMT Quinn skin. That was my dream come true.

Its more like IMT seriously lack the Adaptation roster

tank supports are great, but Adrian isn't very comfy outside of his backline support play style

huni..he just doesn't have the ability to play meta tanks that aren't Ekko ,he relies on playing carries and such

while TSM adapted to the meta whilst improving themselves as a whole

Doublelift and svernskern where some of the biggest reasons TSM was failing svernskern Diving into 1 vs 5,he has confidence to make plays ill give him that, but he seriously improved his timing on those matches Double lift actually communicates better, before that he tends to play an LCS game like its fucking Solo Q,Great mechanics + comms make him an opponent even Koreans shouldn't underestimate

It's not that Adrian can't play tank supports because he doesn't know how, he can't play tank supports because of Wildturtle. Adrian needs to pick shit that can keep Turtle alive whilst he flashes in 2 vs 1.

Huni is bad, that's why. Not mechanically, but his mentality is bad. If Huni was able to adapt even just a little bit to the game's meta, Fnatic would've have a really good shot against KOO Tigers in the Worlds Semifinals. Yet somehow, his fans still think Huni is the best top laner in the world. Like, seriously? Even Hauntzer is better than Huni this season.
