is anyone else just confused at how fast that CLG game turned??
At like 38 minutes they were like: "okay, well, we've gotten bored of this, we're gonna win now. k thx bye"

I was, but not completely as Double lift had a whole item ahead of Kkramer (almost 100 cs over him) so you know he does more damage than their team.
The thing is that even though they were losing those fights before baron, they weren't dying due to being outplayed/engaged on necessarily, rather, DL was so strong (with the rest of CLG not lagging behind) that CLG really just overextended a lot. They were already scaling better with their comp and DL was just so far ahead that honestly, CLG were winning the whole time, its just the mishaps that made it seem like FW even stood a chance late game. So when CLG finally executed their plan correctly, they steamrolled. That was why those last fights looked like CLG was ahead the whole time instead of them making an insane "comeback", because that was practically the case.
The is just what happens if you are relying on AP Ekko for assassination threat. He does not do damage in the later stages of the game even if he uses everything on a target. And the other team itemized poorly. Trist went double crit items instead of life steal or a QSS and Braum got a banner of command that was never used in an imactful way when he could have go.
watch it again, doublelift plays pretty passive up until the exact moment he finishes last whisper, watch how different his playstyle becomes. i wish i knew the time he bought it but he went extremely aggressive directly after.
Kramer got caught, while 2Lift survived than they could clean the base cus they had baron. Zion dissapointed me tbh. 2Lift preformed good and so did Pobelter. Aphro was decent while XSmithie was bad.
CLG disapointed me a lot in this game. They were sooooooo slow and discoordinated for most of the game...
