What Esports should be: fast and fun, and less snowball

The Last Dominion Tournament Ever Had an INSANE Finals Match! * /r/leagueoflegends

Especially now, esports lacks what was in high elo dominoes gameplay: the ability to make a comeback, to not suffer from feeding the enemy team as much, and to be constantly fighting and moving, not much downtime at all compared to some of the lower teams right now who don't want to risk anything

anyways, im still kind of moodswingy about dominioes going away, but at least there's something that I think I could see in making SR better.

The link is to the Finals game 1 dominion match, we only got 600 live viewers, but yea, stuff was insaneeee for those 600 viewers in chat

Dominion not dominoes...

League intrinsically has a snowball effect with how it works, and the winning team should have an advantage. Riot has come a long way. When I first started watching the LCS, if a team got two kills and a dragon (back when the reward was cold hard global cash) I would literally turn off the lcs stream and wait for the next match doing something else. The team would win. They've buffed inhibitor towers, they added the gate, and now everyone gets homeguards - they are doing their best to try and get the underdog some help with the snowball. I think the state of the game is much better than where it was. Only thing I really have to complain is the current dragon. I personally don't like it, but we'll see what they'll do with it next.
