You made me chuckle. C9 is the only NA team doing well right now. CLG got a biscuit thrown to them with their group (Almost impossible to loose that) and TSM is getting wrecked (I hope Bjerg goes back to EU). Then there is poor H2K... SKT and EDG. They never had a chance.

My current goal is Fnatic and C9 to make it out, OG fight C9 (OG is my rank 1 team in my rankings, and hell if I have been right so far!) and I want to see where this all goes.

Well, right now with Fnatic also crapping the bed twice(Huni so aggressive with Darius flashing, and then disrespecting the Darius pick by going for Yasuo), they're in the same spot as TSM. 1-2. Next weekend will show us all what the teams in the group stages are made of.

Can't argue that. Fnatic really screwed up. That draft though. Hopefully they take a page from Origen and get a smart comp.

Yea. The 2 mysteries of Worlds for me so far have been Fnatic and LGD.

LGD I guess was just a sum of the parts thing (and some infighting).

Fnatic I really have no idea. At and after MSI, I really thought Huni was in the conversation with Koro and Marin for best top worlds. At worlds, he has really under-performed with some just really BAD plays. (I remember one... I think as Yasuo.. where he got solo killed.. but even if that didn't happen the opposing jungler was VERY close so it was a sure death).

Fnatic will get out if they just do better comps. I still believe they are the best in the group... If they stopped picking bad comps. Yas into Darius? Ehhh....?

That and Huni needs to stop going über-agro. Just... Stop.

Either way, OG will win worlds! Calling it!

Im so happy theyre doing so well :D its exciting to think an NA team can make a statement this year. C9 for finals against SKT? ;D

Faker doesnt look that great in lane. His Azir also looks pretty bad. Faker, IMO, is a bit overrated. Hes amazing overall, but his laning gets too much praise when he loses it often. Even vs. Bjergsen at MSI, he got beat in lane by a ziggs. Bjerg almost killed him twice. Go watch the replay. He nearly killed him once on camera, and then when a bottom lane fight was happening, he nearly killed him again. Faker had like 3 health. And then, Febiven solo'd him twice, which rarely happens at the professional level.

Again, I think overall Faker is just a monster midlaner. But his laning isn't worldbeating; he loses it to other midlaners but picks it up in teamfights/off team play. I'm almost positive if Incarnation and Faker laned vs. each other it would be even at best. Maybe, even in Incarnation's favor a few times, ala Bjerg/Febiven. If anything, Eu midlaners are the gods of 1v1 laning.

No comment on the Balls vs Marin matchup?

Seriously, That matchup is so lopsided and Marin is unbelievable when he gets ahead of his lane opponent. Legit the only reason I can't see C9 ever beating SKT is because of that 1 lane (Incarnation vs Faker is probably a 40/60 lane tbh)

I'm in the NA but I like most the EU teams. The Fnatic vs C9 game was a must watch for me and I was not disappointed. I think we're going to see some more great games between EU and NA and I for one look forward to it. I am kind of shocked at how badly H2K is doing though, but I guess it's more from the team they're facing than anything else. I thought TSM would NA's monster but they really do look terrible right now and CLG isn't looking much better. I really, really, wish TIP could have made it, I loved their play-making style.
