Regarding the changes in 2016 Challenger Series Qualifiers - a move that will decrease the level of amateur scene in EU. * /r/leagueoflegends

Your new Challenger Series Qualifier format is utter terrible for EU scene, and the time frame you chose to communicate these huge changese were ludicrously short and screwed a lot of orgs (age requirements changed, distribution of spots between national tournaments and open qualifiers, etc...)

Just for everybody to know

Leave this format for NA, if you want (it could actually be even decent for NA region indeed), but rethink about it for EU

To put this thing into context: Origen lost their 1st game in the Bo3 series vs Millennium in Challenger Spring Qualifiers (Bo3 they then managed to win vs Millennium 2nd team)

If at that time the new format was in place, the team that has reached semi at Worlds wouldn't have gone through that CSQ and could have ended up disbanding!!!

In all honesty, its about time they had set teams, and found a way to make farm teams for the set teams. More money, better players, more sponsors for bad teams just becuase they are still in the LCS. Now, I know this might eliminate the random startup or group of good friends that might make it, ala Unicorns, but it will eventually have ot happen anyways.
