I think we should give C9 some credit

I'm seeing a lot of people bashing C9 for doing so bad against FNC, but honestly to even have gotten as far as they did as an NA team, I think they deserve at least some respect. On top of that if you really look at it, they did pretty well during the rest of their games, but for some odd reason during each gave vs FNC, they literally set themselves up for failure. I truly believe that next year, C9 will realize their mistakes of those 3 games and come back even stronger with the potential to win worlds.

Reaperd either has brilliant drafts or out thinks himself with terrible drafts.

C9 crushed the 2nd half of groups and Gen.G with good Reapered. They allmost lost to Gambit and got destroyed by FNC when bad Reapered decided to show up and start getting too cute.

Doubtful about NA/C9 winning Worlds.
GJ NA for making it to the Semi-Finals......

C9 does deserve some respect. They were clearly the best NA team this tournament and they won multiple matches where they were the underdogs.

I think what happened to Fnatic and C9 is a systemic issue from training against their competition. Gauging threat range when most enemy teams don't even attempt that kill is tough, like lvl 2 ganking a lissandra with leblanc/Lee sin. The potential for that is in literally every game. In any game that event can happen, but it didn't in any game, it happened in this game. Because we don't access the threat when it's available to the enemy. We only see the play that happened, not the plays that could have happened. Other regions see the potential and go for it, NA knows its there, but thinks it's unlikely they will go for it, and that's why they fall for it so often.

They do it every year. They lose to teams that are worse than them because they outdraft/think themselves. They already had counter picks to the top meta picks and didn't use them. They knew how to shut them down, and instead did the exact opposite thinking it wouldn't end up with failure.

I love my team, but they are goofy mother--truckers that don't think in big matches.
