Dear Riot, Employees please read - Finals ticket rant.

I hope a Riot employee reads this.. out of all the threads this needs to be read. Let me first and foremost say that I have been a huge supporter or Riot games.. My main league account has over $5k spent on it(Flame all u want). I watch most e-sports events, spend a bunch of money on Riot Points, take part in the Alpha testing of the client etc and show much support for the game I love to play, and the community I love to be a part of. Now, on to my rant. I know many people who sat in Queue this morning for a good while, only to in the end result be finally ready to buy tickets when the queue ended to a 'sold out' screen. Many, and I mean MANY enthusiasts and fans of the game and teams have failed to get Finals tickets in the 'queue system though AXS' which Riot made us go through. Many of us have pre-booked hotels/flights in order to secure transportation/stay in the event it gets a little crowded, only to be told by the AXS site that tickets have sold out in a matter of 2 minutes. Now.. Don't get me wrong, if tickets sold out in 2 minutes to actual League of Legends fans who will be in attendance I wouldn't be writing this post.. But literally, right after we get the 'sold out' screen I go on Stubhub and can get ANY SEAT I WANT in that stadium for the starting price of $180. AXS system of 'queuing up' to get tickets and then being 'randomly selected' to pass through queue is garbage. Riot, you have dropped the ball on this one. I can guarantee over 50% of ticket sales for Finals in LA have gone to scalpers leaving fans and supporters of your game out in the cold. Go ahead, try it.. Go to Stubhub and pick any seat you want, just be prepared to pay for it. I highly recommend that in the future through future events such as this one, maybe try implementing a system to where without announcing it, disable all account creating ability on the day of ticket sales then announce that you must be logged in to your League of Legends account in order to purchase tickets. I mean, its just a game but I am honestly pretty upset and bummed out about a majority of my friends I have met on league and I not being able to go to Finals together, all because a bunch of greedy scalpers purchased MOST LIKELY 75% of the tickets that were available today.
