What #LCSBIGPLAYS defined the 2014 season for you?

Hey everyone, now that the 2014 #LCS regular season has been wrapped up, I thought it would be a good time to reflect a bit on the season that was before we head into playoffs.

My question to you is, "what was the play that defined the season for you?" I'll go first...

Team Curse Gaming innovated quite a bit this season. Some were successes (Pantheon jungle, Trist midlane), some...didn't work out so well. But my favorite play was their Rengar + Orianna kill against compLexity in Week 8. It was a beautiful use of both champion ultimates and was one of the few successful uses of Rengar from the NA #LCS!

Well, I dunno what the most impressive play was, but I know which play had me laughing the hardest.

I still love Shiphtur's Lich Bane Ahri vs. TSM. Just one of the many highlights:

I'm from NA, but I have become a Fnatic fan this summer. Rekkles and Peke are a lot of fun to watch and that roaming Blitz Soaz brought out, but my favorite play so far has been by Yellowstar.

I'll Love to say FNC Rekkles Pentakill, but since we are in NA, this game was my highlight of the whole season.

The thing that defined the LCS in my opinion was EG's 4-0 super week comeback to take 7th place

Riot's #lcsbigplay where they systematically destroyed most melee tops was pretty season defining. Don't think I've ever seen a shutdown so thorough.

There have been so many it's tough to pick. For now I'd probably say the CRS vs. DIG game Week 9 Day 1. That double ADC comp was fierce and the game was extremely tense to watch. You knew that any moment the game was going to bust wide open.

None of them. SOlo queue defines 2014 dumb bitch

This last one (Katarina "1v5") defines the season pretty well. Not because it was really awesome, but because it represents the game the best :) Most players on here ignore the team and do whatever they feel like, probably expecting to pull off some kind of similar nonsense, and now you guys are encouraging that. Not to mention how that video is a perfect example of how resets are inherently broken. Why would you ever think that giving someone a reason to refuse to participate in team fights is a good thing?

Doublelift's 500th kill. Damn

The biggest LCS play that has defined the 2014 season for me (and all other seasons for that matter) was made by Riot ignoring every post in the Help & Support forums/boards. GG WP.

At first I thought Shiphtur's Penta was a tone setting play, and Dig certainly played to it for the next several weeks, but then they fell apart later on.

Tsm totally embarrassed EG beyond belief and it looked cool. By far my favorite play!

Still can't forget coL's Tristana and Yasuo! Rising ADC with the item changes paired with a still relevant assassin.

I absolutely LOVE the mechanics of Threshes Hook. I have seen plays that ive NEVER thought could be possible. Esp with the hook to wraiths after lees kick. that was just amazing!

So i dont have the video for this play but im sure most will remember it. The first game Hai played Yasuo on this split where i believe it was Pobelter on ori who Hai killed with the jungler behind him heading towards Blue. Hai took over that game from that point and was on point with his Yasuo play.

Does the almost-but-Naut-quite pick count?

Because that defined the LCS for me and made me super upset we wouldn't be seeing Naut. :(

The LCS Big Play that truly defined the 2014 season for me was.... TheOddOne stepping down to become a coach for TSM.

TSM went from a rather emotion-driven team (which was not bad!) to being a true performance and business team. International team make-up backed up by professional coaches and some guy who knows that Tons Of Damage works in Korea.
