Riot is there anything you can do to making worlds more competitive? Cause i am bored of watching worlds and ive only watched it the past 2 seasons. I may get back lash for this but its annoying and im not going to buy any of the SKT skins no matter how good they look, and im probably not going to even take part in anything world related next year. not going to buy any of the icons, mystery chests or anything because worlds is not competitive and i dont want to put any more of my money into something that SKT will just out right win. Last year and this year i took part in everything to help the teams out but SKT have won it 2 years in a row and im not putting any more money into the jackpot for next year. This is just my request and statement, hopefully something can be done to make it more competitive for next year, idk if ill even watch next year if SKT is in it.

It, means the best teams around the world gather and find out who the best is. I have no problem with the idea im just tired of SKT winning it all because no other team can stand up to them.

It would be also annoying to have Worlds with equally-skilled teams that would be winning because of the RNG, or luck, etc. There are better teams among the best, that's all. Don't forget actual SKT's roaster will have to retire, one day or another.

bro do you hear yourself? so you want teams like skt where basically no team can challenge them? Cause thats stupid. when you look at other sports even esports there is no team out there irl or gaming that just roll over teams like skt does. I rather have it like the beginning of this year worlds where its basically any team can make it out of groups. i want it to be close every time, 1 team fight or bad play can knock that team out. cause right now its all SKT no team can stand with them. the only reason ROX could was the MF pick that was it. What you are wanting is 1000000000% the definition of a boring championship competition

This is the problem with competition, or rather publicity. The point of competition is to see who is the best. Not the second best. Not the third. The best. We have that team it seems, if none of the other teams want to put in the work SKT does, that's their problem. The second you start catering a competition to "Exciting views and ratings" you ruin the honest spirit of competition.

And SKT isn't an unstoppable Titan. They lose games, they get outplayed. They didn't win the LCK spring, they barely inched their way into MSI semi-finals. They're just good, and a bit better than the others. They can still lose, but don't complain that they're too good and ruining this so called twisted definition of competition you have cooked up in your head with completely equal-skilled luck games. Complain that the other teams don't try as hard and suck. Complain that CLG decides fuck winning whenever they get anywhere near victory. Complain that TSM can't handle anything international and can only play against NA teams. Complain that EU teams don't practice much at all and get dicked down just a bit after NA does.

But don't ever complain that a team performed well. That's the mindset that drives participation awards, and not things that actually matter, like winning.

Well the championship wasn't so boring (ANX making it to quarter-finals, SKT-ROX, etc). My point of view might be stupid, but no regrets. SKT's are beatable, but only by Korean teams. Fair Worlds = Korean teams everywhere ? No way, I could just watch LCK to see interesting matches. Anyway if there was no SKT team, some Korean teams could easily beat up any other team (ROX for example) and finally meet up an another Korean team on finals. What are the solutions then ? SKT dosen't import foreign players, and hard-gaming-training is a Korean tradtion. How could Riot remove SKT's capability of succeeding ?

The solution might be : SKT not going to Worlds because they got hard beaten during LCK/Splits, but I do not really believe that will happen, cause SKT is too strong at this moment (Let time pass, FNC went 18-0 on 2015 LCS Summer Split, they were "unbeatable". Not qualified for 2016 Worlds.). But as I said, there are better teams among the best, a huge skill/teamplay difference, even between LCS/LCK top and lower teams. Every team has a chance, they just have to try harder and harder to succeed. No doubt about this.
