Creep Score is an important statistic to keep track of when watching a match, and knowing the CS difference between laners is even more insightful. I've found it takes a little too much of my attention to figure out what those CS differences are when watching LCS on the big screen.

The display is far away, the numbers are relatively small, and I'd rather be focusing on the awesome gameplay than brushing up on my arithmetic. The actual scores themselves are needed, but I have a suggestion to add the actual CS differences to the heads up display.

In the current info window, there is already a nice bit of real estate between the player's KDA and CS stats that could be utilized to add CS Deltas. Obviously, I am no artist, but I just wanted to give an idea of how this information could be displayed. Attached to the post are two possibilities.

What are the main things here?

  1. Only one CS Delta per position is shown. Meaning, each of the 10 players shouldn't have a CS delta. Only the player who is up in CS would have a CS Delta shown. This simplifies the conveyance of information and cleans up the display

  2. The differential is always positive. The amount of CS a person is down is not shown, only amounts of CS a person is up are shown.

  3. Some indicator is used to show which team's player has the CS lead. Whether by actual position of the CS delta or with an arrow pointing to the team member, it should be easy to see that 3 out 5 of a team's players are up in CS without even looking at the numbers

  4. Colors are always great for conveying information. The current info box is stark white, so maybe throw some color in there to make it really easy to locate CS leads

Hopefully the attachments are visible, but regardless I think you get the picture. I just think CS deltas will positively affect viewer experience and would hopefully be simple to implement since the real estate is already there in the existing info box design.
