NALCS 4 new teams, 4 teams out, what happens to the players?

I'm looking for information on how the new teams will draft their players and what happens to the rosters from the teams out? What are the players options?

Do the new teams interview applications for staffing or did they come in during application process with pro players secured? For the players on teams that are out, will they be trying to secure spots in other regions or on the new teams?

They're the first contestants to compete in the famous off season game of League of Roster Swaps.

But for real, I wouldn't think of it in sports jargon in a sense despite the orgs invested and accepted. I mean yeah they'll need an esports division staff but for the players I would think it more to be the same as any tryout phase of past off season ventures unless new orgs decide to pull whole rosters.

Tl:dr - I don't think any processes will change. It'll just be a lot of potential shake ups; more than usual years

The orgs of the players who arent in have to release their players. So they are free agents and then can get picked up by the new teams.

It's important that no pro players fall through the cracks as a result of this process — to avoid that we're implementing a buy-out period where any teams not selected will be able to negotiate for the sale of their brand as well as any still-contracted players.

If a player is still under contract with one of the 4 teams eliminated, those teams can sell those contracts for compensation. Those players not under contract are free agents to shop themselves around.

Dig and Immortals might be targeted to have their staff and possibly even name rights bought out. Any personnel not bought out by newcomers are victims of the Rosterpocalypse. Barring a team buyout, I'm expecting the most desired free agents are Olleh, Mike Yeung, Ssumday, Xmithie, LirA.
