Every player at the all-star event will only be able to use each champion once during the tournament. The same will occur at MSI. For worlds it will stay the usual way

Cool.
I would say it should be this way for regular season, but with Bo1 I don't think it is a good idea.
Edit: I don't like this for pick/ban phase though. Basically coach: oh well he can't play this no need to ban. I mean that is also strategy too, but MSI is a long event, it wouldn't make sense unless the rule was toned down.

I'd like to read about it
When the roster is so 1-dimensional and unbalanced that you literally have to force people off supreme meta and borked fotm picks that rule over the game without peers, instead of teams choose what they want out of an array of optimal and sub-optimal but workable strategies/solutions.
