Prisoner Island concept

So I did get why Riot doesn't want to make a prisoner island. Cause toxic player would not enjoy to play with other toxic players, so they would most likely stop after a while. Additionally they would see no hope at the end of the tunnel, cause they will see no positive behavior which would help them to reform. But what about a time-limit prisoner island? 1. chat restrictions, 2. than 14 days ban to think about it 3. and then 1 month prisoner island. If you're not happy after playing 1 month with people like yourself to play with nice people again, I don't know what else will help. 4. perma-ban (acutally I would prefer perma-prisoners island)

EDIT: What about now where Trump is president, we just make toxicity the average game tone. And people who haven't flamed or get reported for a few games will be send to prisoner island. I wouldn't mind to get some longer queues to play with nice people.

Sorry man, but why should we allow these people to play the game at all? We don't want them playing with anybody, even other toxic players.

I think a better punishment is that they can login and only spectate matches. Whenever they click on anything other than spectate, they get that super obnoxious Krusty the Klown laugh.

Hopefully it would be so disturbing they didn't even come here to complain about their bans.

Why spend money and resources on a lost cause? I wouldn't.

I see you're from western Europe. See here in the U.S., we send hundreds of thousands of okay guys to prison for selling questionable-but-not-particularly-harmful herbs to people who want to self-medicate. But after they've been in prison a few years, they're less okay. They've been in an environment where almost everyone is mean, so they adapt to it by becoming mean too. Then they do something else that makes them go back to prison, because afterwards their choices are more limited, especially since they're meaner than most people who haven't had their experience.

A prisoner's island in LoL would be like that. Any time spent in it would make everyone involved a more toxic player. Reform becomes less likely. That doesn't help anyone. Riot wants the correctable (most of the players who see punishment) to play nicer, and the players who can't to simply not play. The island actively hurts that goal.

Riot is against any and all forms of Prisoner's Island since it ultimately doesn't solve anything.
