It's been commented on in the past that the bottom teams have a much harder time recruiting talent because pro players don't ever want to risk the possibility of being relegated. This og roster looks far better then what I was expecting looking at what players hadn't been signed yet.

However, in my opinion OG has never had a roster problem. They've always had the talent to do better then their record showed. Their problem was always in coaching and staff. I think this is a solid middle of the pack team if peke can manage shot calling korean players.

If this article is confirmed, then it kinda begs the question of who they put on OG's other roster (as much like fnatic, apparently og also decided to field a potential challenger one). Much like Echo Fox in na, I don't think this roster stands much of a chance and will probably spend the entire split making slightly offensive jokes about how bad they are.

Quick little bit of news to update this article:

Apparently xpeke has no plans on starting mid, instead deciding to hire some korean guy named "naehyun" to do it.

Well this team looks shat; 10th place/5-13 overall.

ah well, it has enough potential to reach playoffs - and i don´t think they´d aim for much more. I think after the spectacular first season expectations are just way too high for OG, they really don´t have the staff (coaching, managment etc) yet to be a team aspiring to go far in worlds consistantly and its probably fine for them to be middle of the pack for the time being.

It started going downhill once xPeke moved out of the lineup - unfortunately. :/ Now, they are starting to rebuild. First season OG was like a flash in the pan.
