Here's the Deal TSM...

I typed out a huge salty thread and it made me feel better before I deleted it. Anyway...

I won't mention what should be done with Dyrus and Wildturtle. Seems pretty obvious. Bjergsen will hopefully get a good offer from a European team so he can stand a chance internationally and be closer to family. Win-win for him.

This shows that NA needs a BUNCH of improvement to compete internationally. They may have won at IEM due to flukes, but they don't stand a chance at Worlds with this performance. They may also be number #1 in NA, but this clearly shows they are nowhere near #1 in the world. This shows great weakness overall in NA.

I really think they need new ownership too and that Riot should not put all their eggs in one basket...but I won't get into that...heh.

I truly believe they don't currently have what it takes to do much at Worlds. We need some better teams in NA.

Well, throw me some delicious salt and I'll trade you some pretty tissue boxes for it.

I gotta agree. The west isn't looking very good right now, in general. If worlds were to happen tomorrow, we would be seeing SKT be the champs, or EDG/AHQ be just as capable to fight for it.

EU honestly has good players, I believe a team of the best EU players could compete at the highest level. NA lacks individual skill.

Maybe. I have to say that imo the best midlaners in the west seem to come from EU (Bjerg, froggen, Power of Evil, etc.). However, I don't think that a theoretical "dream-team" of the best laners in their respective roles wouldn't have much trouble against the Asian teams.

Well of course not, I said they could compete at the highest level, not stomp the competiion :)

EU has always had great individual players who were respected even in Korea and china. Alex Ich and xpeke were highly respected in S2 and 3 and Diamond and Cyanide were feared junglers. Froggen, Bjergsen, Rekkles...all of them are really good individually.

It's not TSM's fault. Riot does everything in their power to show favoritism to TSM. It's like a kid riding a bike with training wheels vs. a pro BMX rider.

A lot of it is TSM's fault, especially the arrogance and thinking they are the best (edit: in the world). Reggie is the worst with this. Riot has definitely had a huge hand in it as well. I agree that they have shown them way too much favoritism. The problem is this happens because they make them the most money out of all the teams. It's all about money for Riot.
