Question Regarding Preseason Progress

Recently I have decided to improve my ability to handle flamers and trashtalkers in this game (me being one of them on occasion) (still working on that :P). Using only a few champions instead of playing every single one has also improved my net performance. Now I've been stuck in bronze 3-5 for quite some time, but after implementing these changes to the way I play I've found myself in Silver 4 with 58 lp. HOWEVER, I got from Bronze 3 to Silver 4 during PRESEASON, so I was curious as to whether I will be put back into Bronze 3 due to me ending the season there. This is not a QQ thread; I will accept that I have to climb out again if necessary. I just don't want to get my hopes up. Silver is not much better than bronze in the flame category, but I do feel a sense of elation at having risen above bronze status. I know I suck at the game, having played over 1000 ranked matches before realizing how to actually rank up, but this game has actually taught me, slowly, to be a better person and a better teammate. I still have my tilts of course. With that being said I hope to get an answer as to how likely it is that I will be placed back in bronze IF I do well in placement matches. I mostly wanted to rank up because I was tired of 0/14 jaxs telling me how worthless I was being bronze when I was doing well at the game and was not trashtalking anyone. That's the unfortunate truth to this. I feel my self-worth diminish playing normals games and being told I'm no good and to uninstall. Yes I need tough skin, but I really want to learn to enjoy the game without doubting my accomplishments. I know I rambled but thanks for reading.

playing in preseason affects your mmr which is what is used to get your starting mmr for the ranked provisional matches.

In english: your silver 4 rank WILL "carry over" to the next season with the weight of your provisional matches factored in.

Experience doesn't mean anything

Watch streamer and try to get a feel on how they play

Main a champion is how you can climb
