Spoiler Alert! IG Win!

Thanks Riot for announcing the winner of Worlds on the eSports home page first thing! :/

You did a great job in previous rounds and matches on not spoiling it for people. Some of us out here really appreciate the effort you took on the home page and in the VODS sections to not show winners until we've had a reasonable opportunity to watch the matches and find out that way who won. You did a great job on adding a spoiler alert message in VODS for tie-breakers. It appears you were very cognizant and careful on what you displayed and where. Why all a sudden a change?

Some friends and I are planning a little watch party for the rebroadcast of the Final match. I go to the esports page to set things up and the first headline is "An LPL First: Invictus Gaming wins it all"

Really!?!?! WTF!!! GAH!!!

Please stay consistent in the future with how you display victories. If you want to display victories on the home page prior to giving people in the US a chance to watch them, that's fine. But stay consistent with it. If we know you are going to we can simply stay away from the page until we've had a chance to watch it. Just please don't not show them in all matches leading up to finals and then all a sudden change it up and display it! Use some common sense.

Thanks and nice job IG.

(I'll keep this bit of information to myself until my friends have watched it. I at least will stay consistent...)

While I agree Riot makes the spoilers hard to avoid... why would you have "Spoiler Alert! IG WIn!" as the title of this? The point of a spoiler alert is so people can avoid it if they choose. You can't avoid the spoiler when it's written DIRECTLY beside the spoiler alert warning. Think.

Riot never learns....and that's why I always go to Eventvods.com before anywhere else (even youtube).

But seriously I wish I could take to some kind of action to hide spoilers rather than just being a voice on the board. Years of this is enough.

Yeah I wish they would not place the winners picture on the home page as I was looking forward to watching the matches when I woke up this morning. They could have easily done some sort of teaser photo and then navigating to the winner article.

Anyways I only ended up scanning through the games quickly spending about 6 min to watch all 3 games. Such a disappointing worlds. Semi finals lacked competitiveness, so did the finals. Ill have to do a search for the opening ceremony as I figure it was more entertaining than the match its self.

I feel like this worlds had a lack of mechanically difficult champions played, which made it dull to watch, along with the top teams from every region performing inconsistently

Some people just don't get it....
