Fnatic was confirmed to offer more money, they couldn't persuade YS to stay because YS didn't want through the experience of rebuilding a team from scratch again after losing Huni/RO when he is approaching the tail end of his career and still want to compete at the highest levels
TSM was a safer call at the time given they were going for a NA superteam by having yet acquired the supposedly two best carries in NA + imported a top 2 jungler in NA scene (Sven), while FNC still only had Febiven and Rekkles (who were unhappy with the situation too)
