LCS Talk Hosts

I've been playing League of Legends for a very, VERY long time. Since the Season 1 days. I was just a mere little kid when I started playing. Didn't really understand the whole point of the game at the time. I'd just hit buttons and it'd say I had killed someone. That's really all I thought the game was at the time. I played the game as I grew up and learned the game further and further. Eventually I started to see things on the main page of the League client about eSports. And that's what sparked my interest in something I've aspired to be since then.

I watched the video and it was two teams in the North American regionals. I watched the game and was mostly not focusing on the gameplay, but rather, what the talk hosts were saying. I thought that was a really cool job. Being able to pretty much narrate a competitive game. It was like a radio talkshow, but better. It was something that got me really interested in the idea of becoming one.

Later in the year, PAX Prime began hosting the North American regionals there. For me, that wasnt very distant at all, so I made sure I went to PAX every year. I didnt sit in the crowds watching the game. I sat to the side, right below the stands of the talk hosts. I mean, sure I'd look over and watch the game every once in a while, but it was watching them that really encouraged me to begin aspiring to become one.

In short, I've always wanted to become one for eSports, LCS, Riot Games, or whatever it takes. It would mean the world to me if I could become one. And thats why I came here to ask. I've tried looking up so many things, trying to figure out how I could make this ambition become reality, yet I've found close to nothing.

If anyone is familiar in this field, that would be amazing.

Thank you.

The best thing is just to start doing it. Start commentating games either on youtube or twitch. Maybe start with just specator games or local tournaments and then from there build your skills. cast anywhere you can and try to cast larger and larger tournaments until you are skillfull enough to apply maybe to the LCS challenger scene casting team and from there you could grow to become an LCS caster ;).
