This SKT vs FNC game deserves a remake.

need I say more?

You remade the GMB vs SK Game last year because of an Aatrox bug that had no impact whatsoever (hey, it's aatrox wtf is he going to do)

This one was trully gamechanging, this one was literally the turning point of the match, this one deserves a remake.

Was pretty dumb. It was obvious a bug happened and affected the game. It shouldn't be the team's job to /pause and worry about it when its a bug within the game. At first, it looked like a flash, and then he flashed later, showing it was a bug; a game changing bug.

It basically gave Sk a baron for free; they were losing. It was a game changing bug and pretty much ruined the only good game of the entire MSI so far.

You would think they would make a system to combat these kinds of things, possibly some kind of auto-save function simply for Pro play considering how hard they are pushing Esports, so that they could just go back to the few seconds before a bug affected the game, or any other thing that ruins a game.

I don't believe its going to happen, Fnatic didn't pause the game to report it. I thought it was a bug with the spectator because Reignover looked like someone that fail-flashed.

EDITNot to say I wouldn't completely agree with a remake if it was indeed a bug, but it just looked like a spectator visual issue here at MSI.

FNC would have had to give up a winning position to get a remake. That's not a happy place to be. They still had a chance to win the game. They chose to keep the game instead of remaking and giving SKT a chance to learn from the early game.

It's been said multiple times, but if it was really that big of an issue, Fnatic should have paused the game. Yes, in the very middle of the teamfight. Why? Because it wouldn't have mattered and the officials probably would have done something like reset the situations (make everyone return to the fountain), or even reset the match if the former suggestion wasn't plausible.

They didn't call for a reset because they were still very confident they were going to win the game, and it came back and bit them in the ass. Even so, they made an incredibly poor decision to actually engage that teamfight after Sejuani was so low. She landed a multi-target ult and could have just disengaged while the rest of the team, which hadn't taken a single hit, could have kept SKT from pulling Baron.

Instead, they over-committed to a bad situation and, in the end, lost the game because of it. So yes, while that "bug" was unfortunate, it didn't cost them the game. Fnatic's decision to keep pushing the play, even after they got put on their heels from that unfortunate occurrence, lost them the game.

There's no need to make excuses for these guys, especially since they're playing SKT in the playoffs (and beating them the one time wasn't going to knock SKT out of the playoffs, in the first place). Professionals make mistakes, too. It happens. You want your remake? Here it is.

It also happened to Lucian and cost SKT baron xD it stands. Get over it. FNC didnt call for a ref.. This thread has been posted like 40 times

Well gamechanging bug to be honest but SKT might win the remake anyway. Well played by Fnatic though.

Its tricky, if they stop to pause the game and report the bug then there is probably a remake... when FNC is up like 5k gold and doing well vs one of the best teams in the world, BUT they obviously wind up in a tough spot in this exact moment. It's not something that happens often and nobody plans for it. My friend said that it also happened to Lucian though. Says he dashed over the baron wall and got moved back then had to run around the pit.

Wow my favorite team got destroyed... omg there was a slight bug. Totally unfair, they had that game! Remake rito!

We all know if Fnatic won because SKT had the same bug, NO ONE would want a remake. Just stop whining, fnatic lost

There is speculation that this is just a spectate bug, but when I look at champion reactions to the situation, they are all taken by surprise.

Look at yellow star, he is pathing towards the lane thinking that reignover made it over the wall, but it takes him a good 1~2 seconds to react to reignover appearing back again. Look at steelback with a similar reaction at top of the screen. Even Skt Wolf is taken by surprise and places a ward down before pulverizing reignover. I made be looking too deep into it, but if it's a bug but no the spectate, it really ruined the game.

Deserves a remake? Sure.

You think FNC wanted to remake that game vs SKT? No of course not. That is why they didn't pause.

15-3 and FNC was still tied in gold with SKT. This does not happen AT ALL. SKT was getting more resources off the map while FNC was getting kills and giving up resources.

wow that was pretty bad, rito pls

I afraid that if there is a remake, SKT will crush FNC pretty hard. Marin will never build 2nd Deathcap and feeding so many like this game. Btw, it looks like not a bug, its only happen when you fail a cross-wall dash.

EDIT : And the Baron steal of Reignover... Could you guarantee that it will happen one more times?

I only don't want to see the rematch because i worry fnatic would get manhandled the second time around. I'd like to keep believing that them doing so well against skt wasnt a fluke . But a rematch just might shatter that illusion

The issue last year with GMB vs SK was that the call was to ignore the bug and continue the game. It was a very minor bug that would go away quickly(I think on his next skill up or so). Despite this, they had the game replayed. Neither team asked for this either. Or so they claim. This was all on Riot's calling.

It's in their own rule book that all decisions made during a game are final to prevent further issues. Yet they themselves broke this rule and made it an issue. Not only that but you could tell it effected the rematch.

Bugs happen all the time in games. It's going to happen and often pro's handle it fine. The problem is what Riot breaks their own rules and callings.

If I recall, Aatrox didn't even win them that game. He had a minor effect and the other lanes got fed/ahead. It was a huge pile of BS.

Would deserve a remake if the outcome mattered... if skt lost they would be 4-1 but have the head to head win over edg so they would still be first and fanatic would be 3-2 but have the head to head loss vs ahq so they would still be 4th..

Turns out there is a "remake" of sorts about to happen today... a bo5 series between Fanatic and SKT.... if the games go like the one yesterday did it should be pretty good...

Hylian Will5/9/2015, 12:24:57 AM1 votes

FNATIC didn't pause the game because they knew they were ahead and it's BS if they decide to remake the game cause i just see it like this "Oh dont report it we can win and if we don't, we bitch about it so we get a remake" So no, if they didn't pause it they can't ask for a remake, rules apply to everyone.
